▶What happens if my internet drops mid-recording?
No data loss. Huelo has three layers of protection: local-first recording (audio keeps recording into local IndexedDB even with no network), automatic chunk uploads (every 30 seconds), and session resumption (reopen within 30 minutes to continue the same meeting). When the network is back, chunks auto-upload and transcribe.
▶Will my recordings be used to train AI models?
No. Huelo uses OpenAI and Anthropic enterprise tiers — per their API terms, your content is not used to train their models. All recordings are used solely to generate your personalized analysis.
▶How do I cancel my subscription?
iOS app: open iPhone Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → find Huelo → Cancel. Web: sign in at huelo.ai/settings and open Subscription. After canceling, access continues until the end of the billing period.
▶What happens to add-on hour packs after I use them up? Can I get a refund?
Add-on packs are one-time purchases, valid permanently. They're consumed only after your monthly plan quota is exhausted. For App Store refunds, visit https://reportaproblem.apple.com. For web purchases, email support@huelo.ai and we'll handle it (subject to your local consumer protection laws).
▶Which languages are supported?
Auto-detection across 30+ languages, with primary optimization for English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Taiwanese Hokkien, Cantonese, and other low-resource languages are not currently supported — we're sorry for the inconvenience.
▶Can I export meeting records?
Yes. Meetings can be exported as PDF, Word, Markdown, or plain text. Notion integration is planned for Phase 2.
▶I forgot my password. What now?
Click 'Forgot password' on the sign-in page — we'll send a reset link to your registered email. If you signed up with Google or Apple, there's no password — just click that provider's button.
▶Is there an Android app?
iOS first (iPhone). Android is on the roadmap and planned for Q3 2026. In the meantime, Android users can use the web app at huelo.ai.
▶Can anyone else see my meeting content?
No. By default only you can access your meetings. Every meeting is isolated via Supabase Row Level Security. Unless you explicitly generate a share link (with optional password and expiry), no one else can view it.
▶Can I invite friends to collaboratively edit a meeting?
Not yet. You can generate a share link letting others view a meeting, but editing rights are limited to you. Team collaboration features are on the roadmap.
Quick how-tos
- Your first recording: Open the app → sign in → tap the red microphone button at the bottom → allow microphone permissions → start talking. Keep the app in the foreground or allow background recording permissions for longer sessions.
- Upload audio files: Web — top-right of huelo.ai homepage, "Upload audio" button. Supports m4a / mp3 / wav / mp4 / webm / ogg up to 500 MB. Mobile app upload is on the roadmap.
- Smart corrections: In the transcript, click any word → edit → save. AI asks if you'd like to update the same term globally and re-analyze the context.
- Slide fusion (Pro+): Meeting detail page → "Slide fusion analysis" → upload slide screenshots. AI combines audio + visuals into a single integrated meeting record.
- AI assistant: Fourth tab at the bottom. Ask in natural language: "What were the highlights of last week's customer meeting?" or "Summarize all action items this month."
